Kenyon Wilson is the Associate Professor of Tuba/Euphonium at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He performs with the Tuscaloosa Symphony in Alabama and the Symphony Orchestra Augusta in Georgia. Dr. Wilson and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga recently hosted the Southeast Regional Tuba/Euphonium Conference on March 10-12, 2011.
Kenyon received a commission from the International Music Camp in North Dakota to compose a work in memory of euphoniumist Harold Brasch. Dance No. 3 will be premiered there during this year's Octubafest.
Kenyon performed Edward Gregson's Tuba Concerto with the University of the Cumberlands Symphonic Band, under the direction of Dr. Steven Sudduth, on April 1, 2012.
Inertia, written to celebrate the 45th year of the Tennessee Tech Tuba Ensemble, was premiered at TTU on November 5th.
